Jan Ormerod has written over 60 books and is published in 21 countries. Jan has won many book awards, including the Children's Book Council of Australia Picture Book of the Year Award. Jan has also been highly commended for the prestigious Kate Greenaway medal. Andrew Joyner has worked in many jobs from working in a record store, to a receptionist, to a proofreader, to a university tutor. For the last 10 years he has worked as a freelance illustrator for both national and international publications. He lives and works in Strathalbyn, South Australia with his wife, children and 19 pets.
